Michael Amendola MD MEHP
Pre-Medical Education
Dr. Amendola completed his undergraduate degree from the College of William and Mary in Chemistry in 1995. He also completed a Masters in Chemistry in 1996.
Medical Education
Dr. Amendola received his medical degree from the Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) School of Medicine. He remained at VCU for training in general and vascular surgery.
Graduate Medical Education
Dr. Amendola trained in general surgery at VCU Health System. He remained there to complete training in field of vascular surgery. He maintains boards in general and vascular surgery. He has been practicing vascular surgeon since 2009.
Current Efforts
Dr. Amendola completed a Masters in Education in the Health Professions from Johns Hopkins University. In addition to practicing vascular surgery and keeping up with the field, he expand his knowledge and experience in leadership, education, Innoviation and the use of artificial intelligence.
